The origin of education is “Educatum” , which means learning and teach. In this sense, if we look at everything in education, which we learn in society.

Types of Education

Education is presented in various forms based on teacher, child, subject matter and teaching methods, which is as follows:

(1) Main 3 different Types of Education:

These are

  • Formal Education, Informal and Non formal education

Under the formal form of education, Education is considered as a well-planned process. In this form, the education which is given through the medieval purpose is to educate the child. Accelerate its mental level and to reach it with certain goal. Education plan is preset in this education, that is, the place of education, time, teacher, learner, subject and time table are all ensured.

The final goal of this education is to ignore the student after the examination. The main feature of formal education is that by this, the child and society fulfills its requirement and prepare it for a business. In a nutshell, we can say that formal education is the academic instrument established for the purpose of giving education, as well as school, library etc.

  • Informal Education

In contrast, informal education starts from the birth of the child. And whole life affects the education of the child. In these means, the location of education, time, teacher, learner, subject and timetable are not certain. The primary purpose of the informal means of education is neither to teach the child nor to ignore it with a title. This education affects us in naturally and improving our behavior and conduct, we prepare us for future life. This education is not streamlined and listening. The child learns something, while playing, Eating and drinking, and this is the education.

Both of the education is empty for the child and is a collaborative in the development of the child. This instrument is notolated and complemented each other. Since our knowledge is increased by formal education and trying to make us self-dependent by organizing knowledge. The same informal education providing our behavior. We prepare for real life. That is why the development of the child can be done smoothly when these two forms of education can be done smoothly.

  • Non formal education

In view of the shortcomings of formal and non-formal education, a new form of education has been developed, which was neither bound, systematic, artificial and impractical like formal education nor was it natural, free, and natural like non-formal education. This new form of education was a mixed form of both the education which is known as ‘Non formal Education’.

In non-formal education, there is freedom as well as bondage, there is a definite program of education in it. But it remains free from the restrictions of place, environment, class, age etc.

(2) Direct and indirect education

The process of education has been considered as the middle process of teachers and learners. Because of this direct education in which the teacher and the child sitting in front of each other, exchanges ideas according to the former certain plan. Using a certain teaching method for achieving objective in this education.  The child is given a definite type of knowledge.

On the contrary, indirect education is called to him who is not given according to a prior plan nor has it any purpose. But it is given in the independent environment and the means of giving education are indirect. In this direction the learner has the freedom to grow its desired. This instrument affects the student indirectly education. This education gets assures from the natural environment. Therefore, it is necessary that the child in which the child is kept, it is good to earn a child’s goodwill.

Direct and indirect education is also not opposed to each other. It is also necessary for the child that he should be interested in self-learning through others as well. Therefore, both types of teachings are necessary.

(3) General and specific education

General education also says liberal education. This education is attempted to develop the child at the normal level. Education is the idea that this education should essentially assume humans. Since it collaborates in lifting the human behavior. The purpose of this education is to prepare the child for normal life.

Specific education is that which is operated for a particular basis. This education is particularly taken care of that education is favorable to the children’s interests, qualifications and capabilities. Since this education prepares the child for a particular area or business. By this education, the boys and the girls are given such opportunities that they can develop their creativity and reach their life goal. It is also tried in this direction that the child can cooperate in fulfilling the needs of society and it is developed in different areas.

Both of these forms are complementary to each other. Since one hand it is also necessary that developing the general personality of the child should be practiced. As well as it is necessary that the child receives efficiency in any one area Give the society to the society and get physical pleasures.

(4) Personal and collective education

Personal education is called education that is favorable to the children’s interests, requirements and capabilities. At the same time, the number of students in this education are also kept. At one time the same teacher gives education to the same student. The force on this type of education is based on psychological ideology since it emphasizes personal variation in psychological education. While receiving personal education, the child is provided independent atmosphere, which facilitates achieving knowledge.

Collective education is in which many students are educated together by the same teacher at the same time. In this form of education, the children are collected in a classroom, but the child’s personal interests, qualifications and abilities are ignored.

Both the above mentioned limits are good since personal teaching person focuses on special and ignores the collective teaching person. But it is impossible to implement personal teaching in today’s time. The teacher should have an attempt that he collectively troubleshoot the personal difficulties of the child while working.

(5) Positive and negative education

In positive education, child knowledge is assumed according to the teacher. There is no place in its own experience, logic and contemplation. The teacher has an important role in providing knowledge. That is why the child is not left independent. There is no place for the child’s selfishness in this teaching.

Negative education is from the education that the child excludes knowledge on the basis of self-experiences and actions. The boy or the girl himself produces ideals for himself and the teacher prepares the appropriate atmosphere for him.

There is also mutual coordination in these two forms of education. Neither should we be handed over to the education of the child completely and neither should he be in full control of the teacher. Giving the opportunity to learn the child on the basis of autonomy and self-employment, the teacher should play an important role in the form of an administrator.
