At this stage I will make some pages for the website. No worries, if you don’t have enough content, you can edit or add later at your convenience.
To create a page,
click on the Pages »Add New section in the admin panel of your WordPress Website. After clicking you will get an Editor screen.
First of all we have to determine a name for the page. Which is also called Page Title. We named this page “Home”. Then we will write some content for this page. If you want, you can add text, links, images, embed videos, audio, etc.
After adding the required content you will click the Publish button on the right. After clicking, the page will be visible on your website which will be seen by the visitors.
You can also create multiple pages according to this rule if you want. For example, you can create a Blog Page to show about your page, contact us, and your website posts that will show your posts.
Now let’s add some posts / Blog Post to our website.
To create a post / Blog Post, click on the Posts »Add New section of your admin panel. After clicking, you will get an Editor screen like the image below
You can add / write Post Tittle and post Content as you would create a page. Note that there are some more options, such as post formats, categories and tags. You can publish this post later if you want. Clicking on the Save Draft button will save this post as a draft which you can edit and publish later or if you want to publish now, click on the Publish button. Only then will this post become visible on your website.
STEP 5. Customizing and Tweaking Your Website:
So far we have created some content for WordPress Website. Now I will present these contents beautifully on our website. Let’s create a static front page of the website.
Setting up a Static Front Page
For this you need to go to Settings »Reading from admin panel. Here we will select the page that I created a while ago in the Front Page option and in the Post Page option I will select the post that I created a while ago.
Be sure to click the ‘Save Changes’ button before leaving here. If you do not click this button, changes to the page will not be performed.
WordPress now defines ‘Home’ as the main page of our website and ‘Blog’ for posts.
Change Site Title and Tagline
