All You Need To Know About Google Adsense
We use search engines to get thousands of essential information at a glance. Ever wondered where or how this information comes from? Everyone will easily answer this question, Google provides all the information through our web browser. So the question is where does Google get all this information from? Today I will show you how Google provides you with this information and how your favorite blog also appears in front of everyone through search engines.
What is a search engine? How does a search engine works?
Search engines are web machines or software for finding information online. A search engine first stores all the information that is available online in its database and then displays it to us from its stored database. In a word, a search engine is a machine or software that collects information from online and presents that information to people.
How does a search engine work?
Every search engine usually has a type of software to collect information from online. This software is called web crawler or robot or bot in search engine language. The main function of a web crawler or bot is to increase the number of websites online and collect information from different websites / blogs and store it in the search engine database. When someone searches a search engine to find any information, the search engine checks its database and displays the results in front of us from the search engine’s database.
In fact, if you explain all these things in the language of search engines, people like me will not be able to understand these things easily. That is why I am trying to present the subject easily for the convenience of everyone’s understanding without analyzing in the language of search engine.
How does a search engine works
E.g:- Get it easily when you put a file or song on the hard disk of your desktop or laptop or mobile, but the information you see from the internet is not on the hard disk of your computer or mobile. So the question is where do they come from? Below I am clearing the matter to you through an example.
Example: Suppose you put your computer’s hard disk somewhere else without connecting it to the computer. So how do you view the files or songs on your hard disk? To do this you will need to connect that hard disk to the Internet through special technology i.e. network servers. Only then will you be able to view those files without connecting the hard disk to your computer. Just like every search engine has a server built with this kind of huge hard disk. In which each search engine stores all the information of the internet on their hard disk and from there provides the information according to the search query in front of you. Now another question that may arise in your mind is, how do search engines collect this information?
How do search engines collect information?
Those of you who, like me, know very little about computers and the Internet, normally think that when you type something into Google, Google shows you different information from the information they create. In fact, none of the information that Google shows us is created by them. You may be surprised to hear this! There is nothing surprising here. I am trying to explain this to you more simply.
There is currently nothing that can not be found by searching on Google. If you do a Google search for a difficult and complex subject like space research, starting from an ant, Google will give you instant information. All in all, Google has nothing to say.
Now you think, is it possible for a company to create so much information? If you think about it well, you will understand. No matter how big a company is, it will never be possible for any company to create so much information. There are more complex in your mind. So how does Google show us so much information?
How does a search engine works
As you know, there are billions of websites and blogs online today. Millions of new websites are growing every day. As many people as there are in this universe, they are creating these blogs and websites. Each website owner is writing his knowledge and experience on their respective websites. My blog is also one of the billions of websites.
What the search engine or Google search engine is doing here is that with the help of some kind of web software or crawler or bot, the information of billions of websites all over the world is being stored in their database or web server. The next time you search by typing something into Google or any other search engine, the search engine consistently shows us what is best for the information stored in their database. Then by clicking on the link of that website from Google search engines we don’t see the necessary information. Google does not actually own the websites that appear on Google. Google is running its own business here. You can call it a kind of knowledge game.
Steps to search engine data collection
Usually a search engine collects information in three steps. Such as- crawling, indexing and providing results.
Crawling :
In the first step, the search engine sends its crawler or bot to collect information on every website in the world. In the second step, web crawlers or bots crawl the content or posts of each website. All kinds of text, images and videos contained within a website post are indexed in the database by crawling them.
Every search engine has a type of Web Crawlers software. In the language of search engines, these are called “robots or bots”. These Web Crawlers visit every link on every website on the Internet. Every time you visit a site, it collects new links from that site and deletes it from the Dead Link server. In this way, each site is constantly crawled and new information is constantly stored on their search engine servers.
Usually every search engine collects as much information as possible from all live websites by sending a spider or web crawler. Whenever new information is added to a website or old information is edited and updated, the web crawler or search engine bot appears and takes the new information.
Even if a new post has not been posted on a website for a long time or an old post has not been edited, the search engine crawler does not stop visiting that website, but continues to visit it regularly. In this way, the search engine bots collect all the information on the internet by visiting millions of websites every minute.
Indexing : (How does a search engine works)
Indexes pages by crawling or crawling any search engine. Here is a short example to illustrate the point. Suppose you have a mobile shop. You sell mobiles of different companies (such as Samsung, Redmi or Apple, etc.) instead of just one type of mobile in your store. In this case, you will not have to mess up all types of phones together, but will arrange them separately according to the quality and company of the phone. Then you can easily show any mobile customers according to the customer’s demand.
For the same reason, every website owner or blogger in the world writes on a different topic. Here search engine bots sort all the information in the database according to the content of the website. Which blog will then top their database depends on the quality of the website. Basically this process of search engine is called indexing. There are many issues within indexing. Which cannot be described here.
Provides results :
When we type a keyword and search in Google search engine or any other search engine, the search engine bot shows the result considering the ranking factor of the relevant result algorithm from the millions of posts indexed from its database. Google has thousands of employees to maintain these three processes.
For example we Search, ONION OIL FOR HAIR and its showing the result. See the photo below.
Spiders, robots and other programs are used in a search engine. These programs store information from websites and trace hyperlinks. Search robots, on the other hand, find documents and information from various sites and store them in search engine databases. When someone searches a search engine to find information, the search engine checks the database and displays the results from the search engine database.
How does a post come up in search results?
This is very important for a blogger or web developer. This is because after a site is crawled it is stored on the hard disk of the search engine but whether it will be displayed in the search engine or will be stored permanently depends on the index. If the link to your blog is indexed, then your article will be published in search engines. This index depends on the quality of your article. If your article is good quality and unique then it will definitely be indexed and the article will be at the top of all search engines. And if it is not indexed then Web Crawlers will delete it from its stored data.
